Our Terms & Conditions

We're sorry... we realise this is terribly boring, but over the years - we've learnt that having some quick T&Cs saves any potential issues from both sides!

  • Upon agreeing on a quote and wishing to book MYO for your event; you will need to pay the holding deposit straight away or there is a chance we will take on other bookings. We are not under obligation to remind you.

  • The holding deposit is non-refundable.

  • Full payment must be made at least 10 working days before the event.

  • Cancellations can be made up to 10 working days before the event; however, you will not receive the holding deposit back.

  • Cancellations within 5 working days of the event will be subject to 50% charge.

  • If for any reason MYO cancels an event, which is highly unlikely, we will return the holding deposit and assist you in finding another caterer.

  • Our vans are old, and although we do our best to take care of them and prevent them from breaking down; they can choose the worst moments to do so. If this happens on the way to your event; we will either offer a full refund, or will try our best to help find another takeaway service.

  • If the vans experience any mechanical problems before the event; we will provide the same service, but from a gazebo.

  • We do cater for gluten free, vegan and other dietary requirements; however, like in any environment where wheat/dairy/nut products are used; there is always a slight risk of cross contamination. So, if you have seriously allergic guests; we would rather not serve them.

  • We will need access to a plug socket on the day. It takes our ovens 40 minutes to heat up; so as long as this is provided when we arrive; we will be ready to serve at your desired service time.

  • We charge £100 extra per hour for a ‘late night’ service’ after 10pm.

  • If your event is out of our 45 mile radius; we will charge expenses to get to you. If we need to hire a trailer; this will be reflected on your invoice.
